"Siren" is the official colorway for the 2026 Greater Boston Yarn Crawl Shawl Pattern! (Pattern coming soon!) Saltwater Shawl Pattern uses TWO skeins of worsted weight, pair "Siren" with either Sea Spray, Tidal or Undercurrent to complete your shawl (or use it to create your own unique 2026 Greater Boston Yarn Crawl creation!)

- 100% Superwash Merino Wool
- 182 yds
- US 7 - 9 (4.5 - 5.5 mm) needles and H - I (5.0 - 5.25 mm) hooks
- 18 sts x 24 rows over 10 cm/4 inches on US 8 (5.0 mm) needles in Stockinette stitch
- Hand wash in cool water using a wool detergent and dry flat out of direct sunlight
- Soft and bouncy yarn that feels gentle against the skin. This versatile yarn can be used for scarves, cowls, mittens, shawls, and sweaters.

Hi, I’m Erica, the creator behind Wild Violet Fibers. I believe that yarn is more than a medium for creation – it’s a way to tell stories about who we are and what inspires us. Each skein of hand-dyed yarn is inspired by a chapter from my life and my goal is to create colorways that spark joy and inspire you to tell your own stories.
