Welcome to the Make Your Own Hand-Stitched Initial Ornament Workshop at Islay's Terrace! Join us at our Studio and Shop for a fun and creative in-person event. In this workshop, you'll learn how to create a personalized hand-stitched ornaments with fabric, a felt letter and embroidery floss. Introduction to basic embroidery stitching, perfect for beginners - no experience required! It's a great way to add a personal touch to your holiday decorations or create a unique gift for someone special.
- During this workshop you'll get to customize your own 3 inch hoop by selecting the letter and fabric of your choice and then learn the skills to stitch the letter into place and finish up the piece.
- You'll leave the workshop with a completed hoop that is ready to hang on your wall, holiday tree or prop up on a shelf.
- Beginner level: No embroidery experience necessary.
- Love what you made and eager to make more for your friends and family? You'll also have the option to purchase supplies to make additional ornaments at home.
- Class participants will receive a 15% coupon to our shop to use during the day or week of their class.
All materials will be provided. Come join us for a crafty afternoon of stitching and fun! Limited to 5 students (18 yrs or older), 2 students are required for the class to meet. If class is canceled due to low enrollment you’ll receive a refund.
