Call for Crochet Granny Squares!

Crochet friends: call for granny squares! Help with our 2024 holiday window! We are working on a BIG project and need your help!

Any granny square as long as the final shape is a square. (Can be a traditional granny square or a non-traditional style granny square.) The square I made here is a traditional style with 6 rounds of worsted weight wool yarn with an H size crochet hook.
Squares must measure 6.5 inches x 6.5 inches
Yarn: We recommend sport, DK or worsted weight. This project is perfect for scrap yarn and stash busting! (Scrap yarn is available at our shop if you would like some for this project, just ask!) You’re welcome to use any fiber content, wool, acrylic, cotton, etc.
Any colors of your choice.
Make one or make many!

Finished squares due by SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 1st! Mail or drop off to our shop.

While we carry a variety of wonderful worsted weight yarn here at the shop I would love this project to be as eco-friendly and sustainable as possible. (I know it seems counterintuitive to be telling you to not buy yarn from us, but I would love for this project to be made with scraps/stash yarn and second-hand yarn.) If you need yarn we also recommend purchasing from our friends Make & Mend who sell second-hand art and craft supplies!
